Cold Rubberized Asphalt Crack Filler 5 Gallons

This professional grade Asphalt Crack Filler comes ready to use in 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 55 gallon containers and is a professional grade pourable, high performance, black, rubberized asphalt emulsion-based crack sealer.

It is extremely important to repair cracks in your asphalt pavement year around to keep water, oils and vegetation from getting into the cracks and causing further damage.

The problem is that many Home Owner and DIY (Do-It-Your-Selfer) does not have access to Professional Grade Crack Filler so they resort to "Big Box Hardware Store" products (Which are better than nothing) but not by much!

Even though the cheaper asphalt crack filler products are readily accessible to consumers, they simply do not last as long or work as good as the products that the Asphalt Driveway Repair professional uses. It's not difficult to repair cracks with our Cold Asphalt Crack Filler but the preparation is very important. First and foremost make sure the crack is clean and dry. The prepared crack should be no deeper that 1/2" and it will need pre-filling with sand or Backer Rod before the crack filling process begins.

This product is ideal for filling cracks up to ½" wide in any asphalt or concrete surface. It dries to a black rubber-hard consistency, providing a crack-free, water resistant surface prior to application of pavement sealer.

Application: Clean dust, dirt, or loose material from the cracks. Pour Asphalt Crack Filler into the crack slowly allowing the crack to completely fill but not overfilling.

Use a Crack Squeegee to clean off any excess crack filler flush with the surface.

Broadcasting dry sand over freshly sealed cracks is an option which will dull the shiny finish of the new crack filler.

Allow the new crack filler to dry, which could take 4 to 6 hours depending on the outdoor temperature.

Caution: Do not apply below 50 F. Do not use when rain is imminent. Do not use in cracks over ½" wide. (For cracks over ½" wide we recommend you use our Alligator Asphalt Compound.

No special tools are required when using our Cold Asphalt Crack Filler however a small investment in the proper Asphalt Tools will make your job much easier and deliver professional results.
